Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 8th August 2026. This is a plain-English summary for beta testers, not a full legal agreement.

By using Woggl, you agree to the following:

What Woggl is

Woggl is a game-finder tool for Scout and Girlguiding section leaders, currently in beta. It's built and maintained by a single developer (Adam), not a company or registered organisation.

Using Woggl

  • Woggl is for use by Scout and Girlguiding leaders (or equivalent volunteer/youth-group roles) to plan sessions and activities.
  • You're responsible for using your own judgement when running any game or activity — Woggl suggests games, but you're best placed to judge what's safe and appropriate for your specific group, space, and section.
  • Please don't submit content (game names, notes, feedback) that's abusive, offensive, or unrelated to running sessions.
  • Don't try to access other users' accounts or data, or attempt to disrupt the service.

Beta status — what that means for you

  • Woggl is under active development. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
  • We'll do our best to keep your saved games, notes, and logs intact, but as a beta product we can't guarantee no data loss — please don't treat Woggl as your only record of session planning.
  • The service may be paused, changed, or discontinued at any time during beta.

Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your login details secure.
  • You can delete your account and data at any time by emailing adam@felag.co.uk.
  • We may suspend or remove accounts that misuse the service (e.g. abusive content, attempting to access other accounts).

No warranty

Woggl is provided "as is" during beta, with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy of game content, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use it as a planning aid alongside your own judgement and your organisation's guidance (Scouts/Girlguiding safety policies always take precedence).

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Woggl and its developer aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the service, including from incorrect or unsuitable game suggestions, data loss, or service downtime.

Your data

See the separate Privacy & Your Data page for what we collect and why.

Changes to these terms

As Woggl moves from beta to a full launch, these terms will be replaced with a complete Terms of Service. Testers will be notified of material changes.
