Privacy & Your Data

Last updated: 8th August 2026. This is a plain-English summary for beta testers, not a full legal Terms of Service.

Woggl is built by a Scout section leader, for section leaders. Here's what we collect, why, and what we don't do with it.

What we collect

  • Account info: your email address, used for login only.
  • Your organisation & section: which movement you're affiliated with (Scouting or Girlguiding) and which section(s) you lead — used to show you relevant games and hide the other movement's labels.
  • Your activity in the app: games you save, notes you add, games you log as played, and games you schedule.
  • Basic technical info: things like which page you were on if you report an issue, so we can fix it faster.

What we don't collect

  • We don't collect anything about the young people in your section — no names, no data about children or young people at all. Woggl is a planning tool for leaders; it holds no data on the members you run sessions for.
  • We don't track you across other websites or apps.
  • We don't sell or share your data with advertisers. There are no ads in Woggl.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored securely with Supabase, our backend provider. Access to the underlying data is restricted to the app itself and a small number of admin functions used for running the service (e.g. fixing bugs, reviewing reported issues).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data at any time. Since Woggl is in beta, the easiest way to do this is to email adam@felag.co.uk — we'll action it directly.

A note on this being beta

Woggl is an early beta product. This page describes our current practice honestly and will be replaced with a full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service before any wider public launch. If anything here changes, testers will be told directly.
